I am very excited to be showing new work at Exhibit A Gallery in downtown Corning, NY during the Glass Art Society conference, when many of my glass colleagues will be in town! The work I am showing is about reclamation, the redemption in destruction, and hopefulness after disaster- I am thinking about the way we can turn disadvantages to advantages, to salvage something wonderful from the ruins- these pieces are meant to be about the possibility of finding new chances in the problems we are encountering globally- these pieces are a little bit about finding the silver lining in the dark cloud.

The opening is scheduled for June 12, and the work will be up until July 10.

Thanks to Jolanda Rovers for the photo.

My work has been accepted into the Drawing Center Artist Registry. I am always happy when this artwork is seen as part of a larger drawing and printmaking tradition, not only of interest in a glassblowing context. Please visit The Drawing Center, New York to explore the Artist Registry.
